St. Martha parishioners help feed the hungry of the Plainville community by donating food to support the Living Bread Food Pantry.
Donations of non-perishable food can be placed in the designated area near the church exit.
On the second Sunday of each month the food is delivered by parish volulnteers to the Food Pantry which is located at the Plainville United Methodist Church at 16 East Bacon Street.
The pantry has been serving the needy of Plainville for more than 30 years. In addition to donations of food and essential toiletries, monetary contributions are always welcomed. Checks should be made payable to the 'Living Bread Food Pantry' and should be mailed to the Plainville United Methodist Church, 16 East Bacon Street, Plainville, MA 02762.
Residents in need can visit the pantry on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm -7:00 pm and should bring an ID and proof of Plainville housing.
